BeautyMNL Shopping Experience + Haul

For the past few months, I haven't had the time to go makeup / skin care shopping because whenever I do head to the mall, it's always to get some clothes or shoes and knowing me, shopping for clothes or shoes is already time consuming. I do get to do a quick walk around the beauty section at times but only manage to get 1 or 2 products, which is fine, though I miss just taking my time and going through everything I could see.

Thankfully, I can do online shopping at BeautyMNL which saves me a whole lot of hassle from traffic and tight spaces at the mall especially during this time since Christmas is coming.

If you didn't know, BeautyMNL the number one beauty site in the Philippines. The reason for this is because they are partnered with brands that you may have seen in and out of social media with all the products that are raved by beauty junkies as well as new brands to try out.

So, as you are entering the site, you can see the easy navigation of the website with their promos, top brands, best sellers, new arrivals and a navigation for the specifics like skin care, makeup, organic ones, accessories and so on. The site also has a price selection option which is very helpful if you're in a hurry but on a budget.

What I like best about browsing through their products is the reviews section. People who has bought these products rate and share their experiences on using it. This is very helpful when picking out which shade would look best and where and when is the product recommended to use for. Some lipsticks offer a photo of how each shade would look on different skin tones which is a must since not every shade will look the same for each person.

So for the shopping cart, it's pretty much on the top of the navigation bar which is convenient for when you need to edit out your cart and delete or add more things into it. Once you're done shopping, you can now proceed to checkout. There are different modes of payment that you could choose from like credit card payment or paypal, bank deposit or even a cash on delivery (though I rarely see this one).

So the waiting game begins! This is usually the most annoying part of online shopping since you would have to wait and wonder when will your order arrive. BeautyMNL has a tab where you could track your orders. You would be able to see if the payment has been received, when it's processing and when it's on its way plus an email notification when your order is shipped / with their courier and on its way to your shipping address.

I did my online shopping during December 09, 2016 (Friday), and usually they do next day delivery, but since it's the weekend, my order was delivered December 12, 2016 (Monday) which is pretty much the earliest day they could get it to my place. Pretty convenient and surprising since shipping at my place usually takes 2-3 working days for it to arrive.

A little disclosure, I've been personally handpicked by BeautyMNL to do a test run of their site.

List of the things that I got (Click the name for the direct link and prices to each of the products).

I saw that these little things are selling like crazy! I was suppose to get 2 of them, the other one was Rosy Pink but it sold out before I even got to check out. I'm just so into Lip and Cheek tints lately that I'm so excited to try this out.

Some Filipino and Korean Beauty gurus that I watch on youtube has raved about this face mask so I really wanted to try it out, but the location where you could buy this was way too far from my place so I'm actually happy that I was able to get this here and I got two.

Okay, so to be honest, I'm all out of Dry Shampoo so I definitely needed one since I don't wash my hair every single day. This dry shampoo has been very well reviewed that I decided to try it out.

Makeup sponges are one of the things that I take so much time on cleaning and hopefully, this'll lessen the time I need to finish it up.

I haven't owned a lipgloss since 2013, and that was the year when "matte" was starting to make its way into the trend of lip products, long story short, I just got sucked in, loved matte lipsticks and never got a lip gloss until now. I remember loving how lip glosses looked on me before so I'm really excited to get back into using it again.

I swear I get lured into buying lipsticks all the time. This one, I saw was really cheap and from a brand that I haven't heard of before. Most of the other shades were already sold out, I picked Dublin instead but hey, it still looks pretty.

So those are the items that I got and just so everyone knows, shipping is absolutely free until December 23, 2016! If you plan on doing some last minute Christmas shopping, now's your chance!

Also, if you are a selfie lover like me, BeautyMNL has a contest running for you to win a Printster polaroid of your pretty face and a PHP 200 BeautyMNL gift certificate. All you need to do is join BeautyMNL's #selfieMNL contest! Click here for the complete details.

Paranormal Experiences (with pictures) | 2016

I haven't posted much about Halloween this year which is quite new for me since it's one of my favorite events in a year. So, I decided to catch up. Today I wanted to tell you guys about my recent paranormal experiences. I know, if you've been reading my blog for awhile, you'd probably remember me talking about some of my other experiences last year. If you want to know about what happened or you just really like paranormal experience stories, then click here for the Part 1 and click here for the Part 2.

"Claw"

This happened back in July this year, around 7:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Me and my brother went upstairs after dinner and I saw my brother went inside his room and closed the door behind him. I then went to my room and left the door open just so I could hear my brother if he went out of the room and needed something. So, I grabbed my iPad and started to load up a youtube video (couldn't remember what video that was but for sure it was some sort of vlog) and the volume was very low, like I'm the only one who could hear it. I laid on my bed with my back facing my door. After a few minutes, I felt someone climb in bed beside me, like I really felt like someone lay behind my back but when I looked back, no one was beside me, really nothing at all so maybe I was just being paranoid but, I could've sworn that I really felt something so I decided to get up from my bed and when I looked outside of my door, I could see the light switch outside my room by the stairs and I saw this:

This photo is unedited, I swear to all of you. It doesn't even give it justice because it's much more clearer in person than it is in the photo. Okay so for me, it kind of looks like some sort of claw. Trust me when I say that it was never there when we came up from having dinner and I would know because I'm the one who turned the light on and I would notice something like this. My brother never left his room because I would hear it if he did since he also has one of the loudest doors ever. I just took a picture of it to show it to my friend and my mom because I didn't think that it was some sort of ghost at first. I was actually worried that someone may got into the house (like an intruder or something) so I checked every single room, every closet, under the beds, storage room, back room everywhere but I saw no one. I also remembered that I never opened the doors to the house for the whole day that day. I wiped it off and it came off pretty easy and I just used a damp tissue.

"Siri"

This, I couldn't explain it myself but I was inside my room and was laying in my bed when I was on my phone. I remember being on twitter at that time just scrolling through my feed and reading almost every tweet I see because I was bored. This was in the middle of the day, around 2:57 p.m. It was dead silent. My brother was in his room and wasn't making a sound. And you know how apple introduced this "Hey siri" feature that you can access Siri even if you aren't holding your phone and you just need to say "Hey Siri". So yea, something weird happened:

Can I just ask why do I not see the "Hey Siri" command? I'm also 100% sure that I did not press anything to activate Siri because I was reading someone's tweet at that time and IF (I'm saying that it's really impossible!) I did, who the hell asked "who's there?!" It was so quiet that the only noise there, was air. And Siri, you aren't really making it better now aren't you? I was just so freaked out that I asked Siri about it (I was freaked out okay! lol)

It's just way too creepy that I just stopped and let my phone die and charged it. It didn't really happen again which I'm very thankful for because I am constantly on my phone.

"Out of body experience"

This is the thing I've been experiencing for quite awhile now. Like me managing to watch myself sleep as if I'm another person in my dream but still looks exactly the same as me. This time, I got to actually wander while my body was sleeping in my bed. For some reason, in this dream along with my other dreams similar to this, everything was just dark and if you know me, I never sleep with the lights off in my room (I'm really a scaredy cat).

So yea,  I was asleep in my bed and I suddenly woke up with someone breathing down my neck, I looked back and I saw that it was me. For whatever reason I started kicking her (or me) out of my bed and I grabbed her hair and she looked straight at me. She said (or I said, I know this is confusing) "Wake up. You're dreaming. Wake up. They're coming". The thoughts in my head were like "who are you and who tf is coming?" but having to hate people who don't follow instructions in horror movies, I realized that this was actually a dream and I tried following what she (or I) said by closing my eyes and willing myself to wake up.

I woke up in my bed again but the other me is gone and everything was just dark. I got out of bed and I looked down at myself and I could actually feel that I'm still asleep but I couldn't get myself to wake up yet. So, in "spirit form" or "dream form" or whatever you'd like to call it, I walked out of my room to check on my brother. Again, this is the first time that I can wander while my body is sleeping. He was sleeping so soundly but I saw a cockroach by his door. I know that he hates cockroaches so I grabbed a broom and tried to kill it. It ran away and I couldn't find it. Suddenly I had some spiders crawling up my legs so I went straight to the bathroom to wash them off. Then, the bathroom door closed and locked itself. I tried opening it but it wouldn't give in (you can only lock the door from the inside btw so idk what was happening). I tried making some noise by hitting the door with my hand but nothing's happening. Mind you, I was asleep and in some sort of way, I kind of hear something banging whilst I was sleeping (pretty weird and I can't explain it any clearer) but I couldn't wake up. So, I started to panic but the door started to open so I ran out and checked on my brother one more time and ran to my bedroom. It felt so far away, like really it takes about 3 seconds from my bathroom to my bedroom but in this dream it took like a minute but I made it. When I reached my door, I woke up. This time I really woke up and everything was bright and looked normal. It was 3:02 a.m., took me a minute or two to recover and make sure I'm not trapped in some sort of bizarre dream again.

Nothing happened after that, other than me not being able to go back to sleep because I was kind of shaken up. But yea, everything was normal.

So those are my paranormal experiences this year. Thankfully it wasn't as many as last time and hopefully, no more of them the next time because I am the most coward of a person ever. Like I literally could not stand to watch a whole horror movie (I still haven't seen shutter or conjuring because I know I won't be able to handle it!) so I don't know why these things keep happening to me. I guess making up for some lost experiences because I don't watch horror movies? Idk but I hope that you liked it and Happy Halloween everybody!

My Paranormal Experiences - Part 2

This is a continuation of my story telling about my paranormal experiences; Although, last time I wrote about stories that happened at my old house so I am now gonna tell you guys about the things I experienced at random places.

Too early for school.

It was during the 5th grade so I was about 11-ish years old. I had a school service back then and I had this friend and classmate that rode with me, let us call her Isla. So Isla and I were always the ones who are very early to arrive in school and the classroom that we had back then was only 1 for the whole day. So me and Isla climbed up to our room and the door was locked which was unusual since it was rarely locked except when somebody else arrived before us (which sometimes does happen) and decided to prank everybody. Me and Isla were knocking at the door for a minute or two and the doors of our school that time had really tiny windows so me and Isla peeked on the window and we saw a girl about maybe our age jump to look at us and crouch back down behind the door that we were peeking in. We didn't see the face, only the eyes and the hair because it happened really fast. She was almost naked from what I saw or maybe wearing something that I couldn't see. Isla looked at me and asked if I saw that and I said yes and I asked her who was it, she says she thinks it was one of our classmates because of the haircut. So we just kept knocking until all of our suspects that we thought were inside and who we saw arrived. We kept telling them what happened and some even thought we were just scaring everybody. We kept an eye on the door incase it does open and somebody was really inside but classes were about to start and our adviser unlocked the door. Me and Isla rushed inside to tell everybody where we saw the girl but really, nobody was there. Totally creeped me out for the rest of the day.

House.

This was at another one of our old houses, not the same as the past one that I've told you guys about. I was either 8-9 years old at that time (we moved out for abit at our old home due to renovation) and everybody, my mom, my brother and my aunt were already at the main room getting ready for bed. I was at the living room watching a favorite show of mine. There was a window behind the TV (We haven't rearranged much of the furniture yet because we just moved there at that time) and I saw someone, no idea if it was a girl or a boy wearing a white shirt and he or she put his hand on the window really slow and left. I ran to the main room and told my mom what happened. She checked the window and she saw that there were finger prints. I honestly don't know if it was a ghost or a real person which brings me to this, at that same house, few nights after, I saw a lady wearing white pass by the window and I yelled "woah" which startled my mom. She asked me what did I see and I said I saw a lady pass by. She stared at me like I gone mad which I didn't know why back then, now I do realize why since that window is in the back part of the house and not much people could really fit there since the windows are too close to the walls. She never really told me anything about it until we thought somebody got inside the house. There were banging noises everywhere that my mother got outside the room with her bat or something to hit someone with and gone to check. She didn't see anything but she did say that the noise just kept transferring from room to room. It was a really crazy house.

Stairs.

We moved houses alot so this one is another house that we just moved in. That night me and my yaya (a Filipino term to use to call our maid) were sleeping in my room. the doors were open and my mom and my brother were sleeping in the main room. Althorughout the night, me and yaya just kept looking at each other because we keep hearing someone coming up and down the stairs. It only stopped when my mom would come out of the room to check up on me which was only 2x after that, it just kept happening again and since we just moved, there wasn't electricity yet in that house and we'd have to wait for I think 3 days for there to be power. After that night, me and yaya had our own pair of earphones and played music to sleep.

Throwing Objects.

Another house that we moved to again. This was a few years ago and nobody else was home but me and my boyfriend at that time. I was peeing but I had a bad feeling or was scared at the moment for whatever reason, so I pee-d while the door was open. All of a sudden something or someone threw a colgate cap at me and I know that it wasn't my boyfriend because he was busy playing HON. I'm sure it wasn't paused because I could hear Nymphora's dialog and I could hear it from the bathroom. Trust me, he loved his HON back then. All I could think about at that moment was, well the worst has happened and ran outside where my boyfriend was playing and ended up trying to learn how to play HON.

Manananggal
From Wikipedia description:
The Manananggal (sometimes confused with the Wak Wak) is a vampire-like mythical creature of the Philippines, a malevolent,man-eating and blood-sucking monster or witch.
More about that HERE

I'm sure this is probably my craziest story but I am somehow happy that I wasn't alone when I experienced this because I wouldn't know how to handle it and explaining to everybody what I saw at that time. This happened years ago and I was with my friends and boyfriend at that time at one of our friend's house's terrace. We were just telling stories, laughing, just really having a chill time until 12-ish a.m. until my boyfriend pointed at something and asked me "what's that?" and not waiting for my response he yelled again, "what is that?". I looked at it and swore and hid my face on my boyfriend's back. Our friends probably saw my reaction because when they looked at what we were talking about, they too swore and screamed and ducked because it flew just right above us, even taking a moment to land on the roof and fly off again. I couldn't really get a good look at it other than it is half a body, huge wings and long black hair. I didn't see the face or the bottom part of the upper body that clearly because of her huge wings, all I could remember is she was scary but not disgusting.  I thought she might have been glowing at some point but that's just maybe my tears from being to scared. I think what scared us the most is how powerful and loud and big her wings are because you could just hear it even when she was still far away. When she was gone we couldn't move from where we were, some of us were even in denial of what we saw. To be honest a few months ago I was looking outside my window when I saw a shadow figure moving around, it was huge and I'm sure there weren't any birds, there weren't any dogs or cats around so I don't know what I saw but what I do know is I did see a manananggal and I do not wanna see it again.

Other People's Experiences with my Doppelganger.
I just wanted to add this part eventhough I wasn't there to witness it. It was just pretty creepy that I knew I had to add it in. This one is from my yaya at that time, when we were living at the house where the colgate cap was thrown at me (story above), I wasn't always home during those years since I was always out with my friends and went home really late. Our house that time had a gate and a stone pathway that if you walked on it, it would make some small noises. My yaya said she was watching T.V. at that time when she heard me calling her from the front door. The voice was coming outside and my yaya said that my voice asked her to open the door and to hurry up and the "person" outside wasn't even knocking. Yaya felt a bit weary at this point because when she looked at the window, she saw that the gate was still locked and she didn't hear anyone coming towards the front door so, she didn't answer. After awhile the voice was gone and when I actually got home, I opened the gate and knocked on the front door because I only had the key for the gate at that time. My yaya won't open it for me at first and kept asking me all these questions and I was there just answering them. When I got in, she asked me if I went home earlier that time, I said "no, I just got here" and she told me what happened.

Fred visited us at that same house a few months after. He is usually a morning person so he got up really early and was talking to yaya at the dining room. The dining room at that time was infront of my bedroom door (it was a small house) and Fred and yaya saw "me" coming out of my bedroom. They saw me stretch and walk towards the back door. Fred said he tried asking me what I wanted to bring for lunch, he said that I just peeked at him and went out. Then after a few minutes, they saw me coming out from my brother's room. They looked at me like I was a damn ghost and I asked what's the matter? They told me what happened and I actually didn't go to school that day because I was just too scared to even go to the bathroom.

Those are the stories for my paranormal experiences and if you didn't check or read about the first one that I made then click HERE.
Do comment or link down below your paranormal experiences because what more way to scare yourself even more right? Anyway, Happy Halloween everybody!

My Paranormal Experiences - Part 1

In the spirit of Halloween, I decided to share about some of my paranormal experiences and yes I said some because I experienced quite a lot of it that I'm surprised I can still go in the bathroom alone which sometimes I really can't because I'm a wimp. I will be breaking down the stories by using a title for each one.

These stories may or may not be in order since I only remember what happened but don't really remember when, but it all happened at the same place which was at our old house that me and my brother grew up in.

Pen

I was about 12 or 13 during these times and my parents were out of the country and me and my brother were left with our cousin who we shall call Fred.So Fred was heading out to get some snacks because we were all out of it, he borrowed my pen and paper because he was gonna get Zagu (a brand of shake that's known in the Philippines) and was taking notes of what everyone wanted. I told him my order and I was at the hallway at that time on my laptop probably playing gaia online. He put the paper down beside me and took my pen with him. I called after him and said "hey I need my pen for something" but he just kept walking towards the bathroom so I raised my voice and said the same thing again but he was still walking and holding my pen. I got up and walked after him as he turns on the lights of the bathroom and I called after him again and said "give me back my pen, I need it!" He then turned around and I saw that he has these glowing red eyes and I stopped in my tracks. He slammed the door really hard that cold wind blew at me. I started knocking on the bathroom door and said "Fred! Fred! Give me back my damn pen!" and while this was happening, Fred came out of my brother's room which is on the far left side of the bathroom (my room was in between the bathroom and my brother's room) and asked who was I talking to. I got startled for a second and immediately said "I'm talking to you in there" and as what I said finally made sense in my head, I backed out from where I was standing while Fred opened the door to the bathroom really fast. Nobody was inside, the lights were still on and my pen is on the sink. Let's just say I didn't need that pen anymore after that.

Beads.

I'm guessing that this is before or after the incident about the pen (story above). My other cousins visited us at our old house (yeap same one) and we hung out for a few days. During the 3rd or 4th night they were there, we decided to go and cook something but it wasn't for dinner I recall since it was pretty late. All 3 of us (me and my 2 girl cousins) were at the kitchen and the window was wide open. We just kept laughing at something but what I do know that we were really not that loud. No one was squealing, or laughing too loud or talking to loud so we know we weren't bothering anybody. As we were still telling stories there was suddenly these small beads that I used to play with back when I was younger flying in from the outside onto the kitchen. At the 1st time we tried to ignore it but then it happened again, and again and it came in faster everytime. We grabbed the stuff that we were cooking and ran out of the kitchen. Honestly don't know who could do that because there weren't any houses at the back of our kitchen. The house that we stayed in that time was pretty high up and just land at the bottom. There were really big trees and just mostly some place people don't go to because the grass is way too high. This however, is pretty mild to what's more to come but it really freaked me out because I usually thought at that time that ghost can't hold or throw things. I didn't know what a poltergeist is so I was shaken up.

R.I.P. Hannah Montana.

I forgot which post I said this but when I was younger, I used to always sing along to Hannah Montana music and dance along with it too. This became a habit for awhile when I was practicing a Hannah Montana dance and I was in my brother's room that night. My brother's room has a window that when you look outside, there's the gate of our house. And it's locked so I pulled down the blinds and started doing my thing as you may say. I heard a car passing by and when it's headlights or the glare of the light hit my window, I saw a silhouette of a really tall but skinny man wearing a cap (Kind of like Michael Jackson's) standing near the window and he raised his arms and I saw that he was holding a knife. I immediately ran outside the room and saw my cousin and our maid at the hallway and told them what I saw. My cousin, Fred went out to see who it was but there was nobody there. Nobody could really get inside or near the window because the gate is locked and there is no way to climb above the gate because it goes up until the roof. I saw Fred on the hallway near my brother's room and our maid was there and my brother was in my room so no one could really do that prank and manage to go back to where they were when I saw them. That incident honestly took me awhile before I could dance along with Hannah again.

Folded Clothes

Me, my brother, Fred and our Maid decided to head to the mall during the afternoon when mine and my brother's classes were done. So I went to the bathroom to pee before heading out of the house, I turned off the lights and closed the doors and I passed by my room and saw that Yaya ("Yaya" is a term we use for maid in the Philippines) was folding some clothes on my bed. I looked at her and said "Yaya we're gonna head out now, let's go" after a second of saying that, I started walking before turning my eyes away from my bedroom that I bumped into yaya at the hallway. She asked me who was I talking to, I told her that I saw her folding clothes. She stayed where she was and just looked at me. I immediately came back to my room and opened the door because it was suddenly closed, opened it and saw the neatly folded clothes on my bed. I was not at all hallucinating because I was feeling totally fine and she was wearing the exact same clothes and I actually looked at her when I said what I said before I bumped into the real yaya. What's funny is, my yaya that time was very easy to startle so the fact that she didn't even looked up when I was talking to her should've been what alerted me. Well, thanks for folding my clothes I guess...

Scratches.

This was during the time that one of our relatives died and the ceremony was at our province which is abit too far away for me and my brother to go since I recall we had exams at that time so Fred, my cousin went as our representative. That night when Fred left, my brother was sleeping in his room and me and yaya were sleeping at my room. It was about 11:30 pm if I'm not wrong when I suddenly heard this scratching by the door of my bedroom. My yaya was sleeping below, beside my bed so I thought she was just hitting something with her foot so I tried to ignore it. It did grew louder and louder but I really tried so hard to sleep. That morning I woke up before yaya did which is pretty damn early and all I could think about was that damn sound. It was gone already so I woke up yaya and asked her if she heard it. She said yes but didn't wanted to scare me so she didn't say anything. We opened the door and there were these claw like scratches outside of my door. I have a cat at that time but she was locked at the garage by her little room and there is no other possible way she got in the house without someone to open up for her. Plus, with the size of the claws, it wouldn't possibly be from my cat.

That is it for now for my paranormal experiences stories and be sure to subscribe to be notified for the part 2 where I tell you about my paranormal experiences outside of this house or in other random places. For more spooky or creepy stories from me, read about my nightmare and that time where I dreamed of watching myself sleep.

Also, just to add, Fred had a friend who is an espiritista (a Spanish-Filipino term for those people who practically practice communicating with spirits etc. ) and she visited our house at that time and told us that she saw a white duende on the front of the house and a black duende at the back. She told us to put food out and we did, after that, we never really did anything else about it anymore since that was also the time that we were about to move out so I also have no idea if it worked or not.

Happy Halloween everybody!
Note: On that photo, those are actually my brother's hands because he couldn't take a decent pic of me holding the pumpkin, so I took one of him instead. Pretty cool since it reminds me of the Twilight book cover.

I Dreamed That I Was Watching Myself Sleep.

For some reason most of my dreams (probably 8 out of 10 dreams I had) I was always aware that it was a dream. Although this one, it is quite different.

So at the start of my dream, I was having some fun moments that I honestly couldn't remember, all of a sudden everything went the opposite. People suddenly hated me and I was being attacked by something. That happened for a short amount of time until I reached my bedroom. And by reaching, I didn't mean walking into my bedroom, I teleported there. So I sat down and there I saw my body sleeping. I tried to walk away, I tried to talk but nothing was happening. I saw a cockroach beneath my feet and then I was aware that I was dreaming and I needed to wake up. I started panicking and tried to scream but nothing is happening. I could physically see myself sitting down next to my body as if I was another person watching somebody sleep. My vision then became blurry and I saw something coming beneath my feet (to my sleeping body) I'm not sure what that was but it look rusted. And then I woke up the same position that I had in my dream. I immediately sat up and looked at the time, it was around 3 to 4 am.

I just shook it off and posted a status expecting it to just be a weird experience that I could laugh about. Although people's replies told me otherwise. They say that I experienced lucid dreaming.

I then googled what that meant and also googling my experience of being able to physically see myself sleeping in my bed. I then came across the term "out-of-body-experience". It is honestly real creepy and kind of cool at the same time. I'm still unsure of what just happened (or I'm probably in denial).

So have any of you guys experienced this before too? It did seem pretty new to me and I wouldn't say that this was the 1st time I had bad dreams but if I were to scale all my dreams that seemed realistic, then I would have to put this my top 1.

What I learned from online gaming

Online gaming. I've tried all sorts of these and have only stuck with a few for a while. I'm not a gaming pro or addict but I had a time where gaming was my only "me time" or where it was a place a lot nicer than reality. So I'm gonna list down what I learned all throughout my years of playing all sorts of games and why I think it'll apply with real life circumstances.

1. Approaching or talking to someone will never hurt you.
In real life, I always thought that I can't possibly talk to someone due to their popularity or status as you may say because I fear that I may get ignored or be ridiculed. After having to play some games for awhile that involved me engaging with other players, it taught me that having the courage to talk to someone not only lets you get to know the other person, but also makes you have connections. You gain a friend and if you talk to them nicely or introduce yourself appropriately then I see no problem that things would go well. First impressions do last at some point.

2. Having to work hard for what you want.
Whether it'll be practicing your player vs player moves or "farming" for the amount of gold or money in game that would allow you to buy the things you desire is the key to survive in the game. I think from every MMO I played, I was always a hardcore farmer that people would always ask me if I top up or load up using real money to get my items in game. I just told them that I find farming to be the core part of the game and I feel more satisfied doing it. Every step I do in farming helps me to learn more about the game and have more control over my character or hero.

3. Learning the history of whatever game your in, helps you to predict what will or may happen in the future.

Games with an awesome storyline always gets me to enjoy the game even more because besides the fact that it's entertaining, they give you clues on what to expect after you've played for awhile and what you think will be the outcome of the current things that you do in the game.

4. Be a good follower to become a good leader.
On one of the games that I play, I am a guild master and have lead my guild for quite some time now. I had some success and failures with doing so but I guess I managed to do it because I'm more of my member's friend than their leader. Whenever I make decisions involving our guild, I always make sure that 90% of my members will benefit or agree from it. With that, I think that my guild is pretty successful because they follow your example and agree to work together not just as a team but as a family.

5. Don't bother with the haters.
Whether your intentions are good or bad, there are just some people who would turn your good intentions around and feel as if you are targeting or attacking them. Having to manage my own guild, I dealt with people who overthink the things I do without understanding my part. With that, I had quite a good amount of people hating me and leaving my guild (some of them I've kicked for their bad attitudes or their passive-aggressiveness). I experienced some of the world chat wars attacking me and I think my only mistake in all of that was answering them back. I have a pretty smart-ass mouth when it comes to situations like that and I could honestly tell you that it never helped and only made things worse. You can't please anyone, so I'd rather you just enjoy the people you have by your side than to deal with those people who hates you for your being.

6. Don't take your anger from real life to another person who did nothing to you in game.

a.k.a. Trashtalking. I've seen this happen way more than I should. I've also did this and became a victim of it. You came in the game to enjoy and play but then you pollute your environment with problems that shouldn't even be there in the 1st place which causes you and the people playing around you to be out of the mood and bother your gameplay. This just isn't right because being in the game you want to distract yourself and actually do something you want willingly, just play and if you don't feel like talking then don't. I'm sure your friends ingame or team mates would understand. I think this also applies to the work field, learn to separate each of these and this will ensure you to do a better job with the task you are doing.

7. Communication is what makes relationships work.
Being really friendly in the games I play, I gained a lot of friends that are possibly the best human beings in the world. They are the people who you could talk about almost anything and they listen and share their similar experiences too. They may not be in the same country as you but it feels like you guys see each other everyday because of the communication you put into your friendship.

8. Get to know someone before you trust them.

I have become a victim of this. Whether a person is wanting to scam money from you, hack your account, a catfish (a.k.a. those guys pretending to be a girl or vice versa) or a spy. Yeap, I've had some cases where there was a spy on our guild and the catfish, well I guess you could say that some of them would just want to be really close with other real girls or scamming other guys with their money. I went to a point where I became a bit overboard with getting to know people I'm becoming close to, like if they say they're a girl, me and my best friend in the game would make sure if they're telling the truth and I could tell you, I think we found way too much catfish than we could count. And scammers, these are I think the people who have the most patience. They invest their time on you, pretending that you are their friend but in the end, all they want is your money. I know a lot of people who became a victim of these and I just don't know what to say everytime but just be careful next time.

9. There are just some things that you can't un-know.
So you gained a group of friends that you play with everyday, awesome right? But sometimes... you just think you know somebody and yet you figure things out way deeper about what their motives are. You feel betrayed and track back all the things you said to each other and start to question them. I know someone who had a sudden identity crisis from being a victim of the catfish thing (yes, it happens) and became a mad person about it. You think and think and just couldn't come up with some sort of reason why they think hiding it or being someone they're really not would lessen the chance of being friends with you. I get that I may read on some parts way more dramatically, but I guess I'm just concerned because I invested way too much time with them that I feel that I deserved some truth. Or maybe, it's not about you and you know something that you think the other person should know but you don't have any idea how to even say it, I guess that is what messes you up too. I suggest that if you can't handle the truth, then don't go looking for it.

10. The virtual world is real life too.

I guess being able to play these games and having friends that are in the same country or location as you, you gain real life friends too. I found my 1st ever virtual to reality friend 3 years ago in the game. We met up and just instantly became good friends. We're still friends today and I have been so thankful ever since. She helped me with a lot and became who I am today. I just couldn't imagine my life without a friend like her. After awhile, I gained more and more virtual to reality friends that I met up and hanged out almost every month. It's crazy but they became a blessing to me. I love them all so much. Just remember that before you meet up with them, make sure you are also being careful and that you know you could trust them. There is no harm in being safe.

11. Meeting your boyfriend / girlfriend from a game is also real love.
I know some people who just doesn't believe in this but after seeing my friend's relationship become one of the strongest that I know of, I think that it is possible and there's just isn't no harm about it. I can't explain it but whenever I see my friends who has relationships from the game, I see a deep connection between them that I think other normal couples don't. I'm not saying that people who have relationships that didn't start in the game aren't real, I'm just saying that relationships that are found virtually is also equal to reality ones, especially when they did meet up and end up together.

Okay, so I honestly think that I could go on and on about what I learned from online gaming because the experiences are just endless. I do have some friends who don't play online games and whenever they ask why do I like playing so much, I just smile and say I don't even know where to begin. Some of these experiences has helped me to be more open minded and also carry these lessons to my everyday life. I never regret spending so much time in gaming because I loved and love every second of it because of the people I play with and who I became.

Thanks for taking time in reading this and if you got stories that you wanna share from gaming, comment them down below because I do wanna know! Same thing if you have suggestions or questions just don't hesitate to comment.

Until the next blog!
