5 Beauty Brands That I Wish Were In Philippines.

It is quite frustrating when you follow all these amazing makeup artist, beauty junkies / enthusiast and gurus all around the world and then you see a specific product that they use that aren't available anywhere near the place you live. Finding a legit seller online for these products are what I think is the hardest, the reason is, its more expensive than the usual price or what you would expect if it ever came to the Philippines. It's pretty crazy and you just know that you'd have to deal with those things all over again just to get a product or two that you really wanna have. Dedication, I applaud all of us for having the patience for beauty.

So these are the beauty stores that I really wish would open here in the Philippines:

1. Urban Decay

When I was starting out with makeup and watching all these beauty gurus play around with their looks, I have always seen these NAKED palettes, foundation, etc. And this was years ago, until now, I do not own a single urban decay product because I really do wanna see them in person, swatch and match my color, or just to simply stroll by (their products are also a pretty sight).

2. Soap And Glory

Not gonna lie, I was first attracted to these products because of it's packaging. And then after awhile, I just kept hearing all the recommendations and reviews about all sorts of products from this brand. And if what I heard is true, this brand is considered to be on the drugstore range, so I'm guessing if it would open here in the Philippines, a lot of us would surely invest / try out as much as we can.

3. Rimmel London

I'm pretty jealous that this brand is so well-known + its also a drugstore. The quality, the packaging and the actual product are what I love about this brand. Knowing how affordable their products are, beauty junkies like me would most likely be happy if they finally decided to open one here since seeing how many people are already buying as much as they can from online sellers from this brand, its no doubt that this would be quite a hit in the Philippines.

4. Bath & Body Works

I often see this around youtube, their products are so cool that I tend to get upset that I realize it is available nowhere near from where I live. 

5. Kat Von D

The first product that I seen on youtube under this brand is the Shade + light palette, I know I'm kinda late on actually knowing this brand but after having to deal with not having most of the brands available in our country, I try to stay away / not listen to unfamiliar names but seriously, I just wanted that palette so much that I was pretty bummed when I knew they didn't have it in the Philippines. And is it just me or whenever I get curious about a brand, its when I see all these products that I wanna get my hands on? And it isn't just 1 or 2 products, it's a handful.

Runner ups - It is pretty hard to narrow it all down, but I definitely wanna see these brands hitting the stores in the Philippines too!

I Dreamed That I Was Watching Myself Sleep.

For some reason most of my dreams (probably 8 out of 10 dreams I had) I was always aware that it was a dream. Although this one, it is quite different.

So at the start of my dream, I was having some fun moments that I honestly couldn't remember, all of a sudden everything went the opposite. People suddenly hated me and I was being attacked by something. That happened for a short amount of time until I reached my bedroom. And by reaching, I didn't mean walking into my bedroom, I teleported there. So I sat down and there I saw my body sleeping. I tried to walk away, I tried to talk but nothing was happening. I saw a cockroach beneath my feet and then I was aware that I was dreaming and I needed to wake up. I started panicking and tried to scream but nothing is happening. I could physically see myself sitting down next to my body as if I was another person watching somebody sleep. My vision then became blurry and I saw something coming beneath my feet (to my sleeping body) I'm not sure what that was but it look rusted. And then I woke up the same position that I had in my dream. I immediately sat up and looked at the time, it was around 3 to 4 am. 

I just shook it off and posted a status expecting it to just be a weird experience that I could laugh about. Although people's replies told me otherwise. They say that I experienced lucid dreaming.

I then googled what that meant and also googling my experience of being able to physically see myself sleeping in my bed. I then came across the term "out-of-body-experience". It is honestly real creepy and kind of cool at the same time. I'm still unsure of what just happened (or I'm probably in denial).

So have any of you guys experienced this before too? It did seem pretty new to me and I wouldn't say that this was the 1st time I had bad dreams but if I were to scale all my dreams that seemed realistic, then I would have to put this my top 1.

Nightmare story.

Hey guys, I woke up a few hours ago but I still can't shake off my dream.

So in my dream, everything I wished for was happening. My mom coming home with me and my brother. We we're shopping, buying everything we needed. I could finally go study for college and everything was just so good that it made me so happy. And then, we came home. My mom was rearranging the room and my brother was singing at his own room. The house we're in wasn't the house we have now. It was our old house, I saw a kid got inside the gate. He was trying to hide in the dark and was peeking and looking at me. I called him to come near so I could see him. From afar he looked like my little cousin. So when he came near, I could still remember how he walked it was so similar to my cousin's. When he was right infront of me, he was looking down and I wanted to see him, so I grabbed his face and looked at him. I saw that his eyes were all silver, no trace of pupils, he had some blue thin lines in them and he was so pale, also felt so real in my hands. I wanted to talk but I couldn't, I couldn't move, I couldn't let go of him, I wanted to scream so bad but I can't. I started panicking and after what I think was about a minute, I finally let out a really loud scream and I woke up with a scratchy throat and feeling like I have a fever. I ran to see if I woken up my brother. When I saw him, he was just laying there, he didn't even budge. My brother from how I know him, he could've woke up with just me talking so loud, what more of a scream. He wasn't a heavy sleeper but I could swear I knew my scream was so loud that I could still feel it ringing in my ears and my throat still sore.

In the Philippines, we called them "bangungot". They said its a high possibility to happen if you sleep with your stomach full, but I didn't sleep with that state. I prayed before I sleep and who knows I still experienced it. I don't have a fever now which is weird because I thought I was gonna be sick for the whole day. I woke up from the dream at 2:56 a.m. Then I slept beside my brother on his room and just woke up at about 9:00 a.m. I'm still shaken with my nightmare. Hope it won't happen again because I am so freaked out. I'm also trying to google around what just happened.
