What Has Blogging Done For Me? || 1st Blogiversary!

Today marks the day of my 1st blog anniversary and I'm very happy that I achieved something like this and that I had good things come out of it so I will be sharing it to you guys to hopefully inspire you if you are blogging or about to start blogging. It is never too late to create memories and experiences you would want to remember.

  • Being able to track my products in my vanity, my spending and my savings.
I am one of those people who usually doesn't keep track or don't remember all the things inside my vanity so when I started blogging, when I'm trying to find something or wanna buy something, I scroll through my blog to see if I have the same thing that I'm looking for. Why can't I just go through my vanity and search it? Well, sometimes I forget how much were each of the products were and usually when I do hauls, I mention the price of each of them and where did I get them which I found very useful when somebody asks me about it.
  • Being aware of what's new in the market.
When you start being passionate about blogging, you tend to search for more resources out there that would help you on what you need and that includes being aware of what to look forward to because you wanna be able to be knowledgeable on something that is in your field.
  • Being aware of sales or good deals.
We probably all made the mistake of diving in and getting something somewhere we feel is the only place that we're gonna get it. Sometimes though, we're wrong because there are other places that sell the same thing lesser or maybe half the price.
Friendly tip: When online shopping on big / known stores, try and add something in your cart but don't buy it yet. Leave it for a few hours or a day and when you scroll through some blogs, websites or all around google, you will find ads or deals that offer you discounted price based on the item you have on your cart.
  • I've been sent products to try out that I would have never picked up myself.
I've experienced several of these that made me so open minded into trying out new products for myself. I wasn't really adventurous before and after I got sent some products to review about, I found that there are some brands or products out there that are definitely good but most people don't know about. I gladly share most of them on my blog and continue to use what I already like.
  • Meet and talk with people who have the same passion as me.
The blogging world is a very big world. I was immensely intimidated when I started out because once you go around all these other people's blogs and around the communities, you would see that there are groups of people who already know each other either in person or just through blogging and that scared me because I thought that I won't have the opportunity to step in and get to meet people and boy was I wrong. Like what I said, blogging is a big world and there will always be someone like you who are open to becoming friends, sharing each other's passion, and maybe join the already existing group of blogging friends. There is no competition because there is room for everybody.
  • Knowing which product is hot or what to pass up.
When you're blogging about a specific topic, niche etc. You get very meticulous on what you think about certain things. I find this very hard to explain but you will have that sense in you that you'll know that this is gonna be hot and what will not. Knowing where to find good reviews about it helps a lot too because you know your way around the blogging world that you know where to find the authentic ones.

  • Being able to get my voice out there to inspire other people.
This one for me never gets old. I was never really a good example of the good kid, I wasn't the prettiest, smartest nor the kindest of my peers so nobody really sought-after me for advice on such things so, when I started to blog and told everybody about my experiences, stories and my opinions that happened in my life, I started to get messages from people who read my content that I helped them and they could relate to me and I know that it came from a genuine place too. It made me teary eyed everytime because I'm so happy I was able to do that for them because as I was going through some of the things that I said on this blog, I wish I had someone to look for advice on back then. I wish somebody would've told me different and how it really is. I probably wouldn't have listened not gonna lie, but at least I knew what to expect and that I had a choice. I'm happy that I made a difference in somebody's life and that I think is the greatest thing that I gained from blogging.

I could honestly still go on about how blogging has become a big part of who I am today and I'm very thankful for that. It's been a blessing that I know I worked and continue to work hard for and having a good amount of recognition from people who actually reads your work is one of the best things so I thank all of you guys too.

I know that there is still so much for me to learn and so much I wanna do that I just know that blogging will become such an adventure for me and hopefully you'll still be there when I do that. But like what I said, take it a day at a time. Look back to reflect but do not come back.

Life Update

Hello everybody!

So it is finally August, time moves so fast. It feels like just yesterday I was celebrating new year's with my brother and a party with my neighbors. Now it's suddenly my birth month! I will be turning 21 this Wednesday, August 5th. I'm not really planning anything spectacular for that day, I'll just probably head out with my brother to eat and go to church, maybe watch a movie too.

I have also been not posting for awhile and now I would change that because I have a list on what I expect my blog to be and also new content for me to try and do. I really love blogging and eventhough I don't post as much, I still find myself reading other people's blogs which still keeps me on track.

I am also currently still working on a book that I'm writing and hopefully (not that sure yet), I'll be able to put it out for everybody to read. I have also gained a lot of weight from being as lazy as I am and now, I wanna start getting back on track and continue my dream of becoming fit. I'm currently looking at exercise bikes too and would most likely get one within this week or next week since I already have my options and just deciding which one I would get and I will be posting all about it once I have it delivered and tested out.

As for online games, I just recently announced to my guild mates and friends that I have finally quit playing Dragon Nest Sea and would move on to another game. The reason being is not because that I'm really busy but because I've been playing that game for quite a long time, like I was 17 when I started then I'm now turning 21. I practically grew up in that game with all my other guild members that was a lot like my virtual family. I think that I finally got tired of its repetitive-ness every cap having to start with absolutely 0 but nonetheless, it still has one of the most amazing gameplays especially on PVP which makes you have a hard time picking out another game that would compare to the experience this game has given you. My guildies and me do stay in contact and we are discussing what games we should play all together again which is kind of hard since everybody pretty much has different opinions on games that they wanna try out so I doubt that we would all end up on a single game. But some people are willing to try out another game with me which we are currently waiting for the open beta and that is Tree Of Savior. It's an MMO on steam and many people describes it as something quite similar to the 1st Ragnarok game. I however have not ever played ragnarok (Except for the mobile game) and have high expectations towards this game because of all the hype that's circling around it. As for mobile games, I'm on and off playing Toram Online, another MMO Rpg game which actually surprised me that it is so different. It's 3d and open world, the graphics are good too and it's easy to play. Although, it does have issues with other mobile users because it keeps on crashing after you create a character. Another mobile game is Heroes Of Order And Chaos. I have been playing this game for years, it is a tower-defense sort of game and it reminds me a lot of League Of Legends. It does help entertain me when I have nothing else to do and I don't know, it's just a chill game that I like.

For T.V. shows or series, nothing new, I'm still watching Pretty Little Liars (No spoilers! I Promise!) and yes I am very much updated and have also been guilty of rewatching it all over again right from season 1. Can't believe it will only be 2 episodes until the summer finale. I'll be able to watch the next episode on my birthday which I am so excited about  and yes in case any of you are wondering, PLL premiers every Wednesday here in the Philippines just a few minutes after most of you have watched in on a Tuesday ( Took me awhile to figure out all the time difference). I am also currently watching out for some new shows that I would like so if there are any suggestions, do tell me.

I'm also really thinking about putting some blonde highlights on my hair, kind of like a balayage style. Last month was the 1st time that I ever colored my own hair and now I am feeling so confident to play with it. So we will see if I do go through with it.

And yea, I guess that is it and I'm really thinking about what post I should make on my birthday. I have some options already so it may not be just a single post. I'll see what I can do and I will be heading out soon and getting some new beauty products to try out and some new clothes because I have literally been wearing the same comfy stuff all the time and I should probably get new ones that actually flatter my new body shape and still feel comfortable in. I don't know why but my body constantly keeps changing sizes like last year I was super thin and now I got curves, I like either way although sometimes its getting hard to pick out some clothes. Well, whatever I'll enjoy and flaunt the curves I have now before it disappears again (if it will, I don't know).

Hope that everybody would have an amazing August!

Thanks for reading and until the next blog,

I Dreamed That I Was Watching Myself Sleep.

For some reason most of my dreams (probably 8 out of 10 dreams I had) I was always aware that it was a dream. Although this one, it is quite different.

So at the start of my dream, I was having some fun moments that I honestly couldn't remember, all of a sudden everything went the opposite. People suddenly hated me and I was being attacked by something. That happened for a short amount of time until I reached my bedroom. And by reaching, I didn't mean walking into my bedroom, I teleported there. So I sat down and there I saw my body sleeping. I tried to walk away, I tried to talk but nothing was happening. I saw a cockroach beneath my feet and then I was aware that I was dreaming and I needed to wake up. I started panicking and tried to scream but nothing is happening. I could physically see myself sitting down next to my body as if I was another person watching somebody sleep. My vision then became blurry and I saw something coming beneath my feet (to my sleeping body) I'm not sure what that was but it look rusted. And then I woke up the same position that I had in my dream. I immediately sat up and looked at the time, it was around 3 to 4 am.

I just shook it off and posted a status expecting it to just be a weird experience that I could laugh about. Although people's replies told me otherwise. They say that I experienced lucid dreaming.

I then googled what that meant and also googling my experience of being able to physically see myself sleeping in my bed. I then came across the term "out-of-body-experience". It is honestly real creepy and kind of cool at the same time. I'm still unsure of what just happened (or I'm probably in denial).

So have any of you guys experienced this before too? It did seem pretty new to me and I wouldn't say that this was the 1st time I had bad dreams but if I were to scale all my dreams that seemed realistic, then I would have to put this my top 1.

My Guilty Pleasures.

I've been thinking what should I blog about today and this thought suddenly came into my mind, I wonder if I should post about __? Knowing that it may be TMI and may come out of the blue, so what I thought about doing is I'm gonna share my top 10 guilty pleasures! Ranging from the simplest to probably disturbing habits I have. I know I'm not the only one...

1. I am guilty of yelling out "Wobbuffet!" when I'm home alone and then carry on whatever I'm doing.
2. I am addicted to watching reality shows, probably abit too much. (And yea, Keeping up with the Kardashians is on the top of my list).
3. I sometimes like to eat chips for breakfast and have breakfast meals for dinner. Imagine pancakes and hot choco.
4. I read or watch a lot of gossip shows or articles about celebrities. Whether it'll be a scandalous one or just their relationships.
5. I stalk some of my "ex-friends" and I don't know why I do it, I don't miss them but heeeey, I guess I wanted to know how they were doing xD.
6. Randomly dancing to spice girls in front of the mirror with a microphone (hairbrush) on my hand. But hey, I think that I upgraded! I used to do that with Hannah Montana songs when I was younger xD.
7. When I'm reading a book and imagine that I'm the heroin in the story, I tend to read some of the heroin's lines and pretend I'm doing the scene. What? I always dreamt of becoming an actress xD
8. I set my alarm a little early than what time actually I should be getting up, like if I wanted to wake up at 7 am, I set my clock to 6 am and I keep telling myself that I need 5 minutes more again and again until its really 7 am. I actually feel accomplished when I do that HAHA!
9. When I only have a few things to write about on my personal journal, I sometimes keep repeating stuff but emphasizing them a little bit differently than before, just so I could be able to fill up the page. In my defense, I would probably wanna know in detail why I was feeling like that in the future....well, nevermind.
10. I window shop online on different websites, but I still press the buy now button just to see what happens.. even though I'm not really buying it xD.

Okay, so I honestly expected myself to feel more embarrassed than excited. This was super fun and made me a little giggly as I was typing them all out. Now tell me, do any of you guys do these too? Or do you wanna share some of your own guilty pleasures? Comment down below to make me feel that I'm not alone with this ha!

Thanks for reading, Until the next blog!
