Product Empties // November 2015

Not gonna lie, Due to my compulsive buying with beauty products these past few months, I rarely finish up something to it's very last drop. But today, I collected quite a few that I have to review or grab another one to stash and use.

Pantene Total Damage Care 10

I'm just gonna go ahead and summarize this with the Shampoo, Conditioner and Mask. All that I could say is that I love these products! They really are a miracle since after bleaching, my hair was really damaged and I kinda felt bad that I might have to cut it because it really looks unhealthy and dry. After using these products altogether, my hair became super smooth and bouncy or full of life. My hair really thanks me whenever I use these. The only downside that I would have to say about these products is it didn't really help my falling hair issue which I think is still okay since I haven't really found any hair treatments that would help me with that issue just yet. (Forgot the prices for each of them)
Will I repurchase?Yes but I would wanna try out other products for the meantime but I would consider this my holy grail if you are in need of a hair repair. I will be busy trying to find something to help my hair fall issue now.

Breath of fresh air toner from Lush

If I'm not wrong, I got this around May this year(See more of what I got back then here). And have been using it a few times ever since. I actually emptied it before Halloween and just kept it for this empties post because I do wanna talk about this product.  PHP 325 (6.90 USD)
The description:The sea breeze captured in a bottle. A refreshing spray to tide you over. Great for use any time throughout the day as a pick-me-up for skin and mind.
Will I repurchase?Maybe not this toner, but I have been eyeing the tea tree toner (also from Lush) for awhile. I have to agree that it's scent does remind me of the sea, and it does makes my mind calm down and relax whenever I use it. This was an okay product for me.  Though, it didn't do much at all for me. It didn't break me out nor improve my skin.

Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream in Abu Dhabi

I made a review about this awhile back so if you wanna check that out, click here.I love lipsticks / liquid lipsticks and have a ton of them in my vanity but I would have to say that this is my comfort lip shade. It is super natural nude, almost like I'm not wearing anything. It gives an even finish that is perfect for a look that would help concentrate on your eye makeup or anything else that wouldn't catch too much attention or clash with your outfit. PHP 390 (8.28 USD)
Will I repurchase?Yes! I love Nyx's lip creams and would wanna grow my collection but I really need to chill with getting lipsticks so I'll just have to get this one since this is like what I said is my comfort shade.

Drawing eyebrow pencil in #2 from Etude House

Okay, to be honest, I accidentally dropped this the other day while I still have a little bit left. So I guess I would have to add this in these empties post because everything's gone now. I love Etude house so much. I've been using Etude House products on my brows for this whole year for my everyday or favorite look. It comes with a retractable pencil on one side and a spoolie brush on another and is inexpensive. The only con I would have to say about this product is that the options for the colors or shades is pretty limited or small. PHP 148 (3.14 USD)
Will I repurchase?Yes and I would recommend this to anyone who is a beginner in doing their eyebrows because of how easy this product is to use. Although, I'm thinking that this would be a perfect time for me to get a new brand or product so I'll leave this one as a backup.

Purederm Argan Oil Make-up remover wipes.

Yes, the picture is a newly opened pack of wipes because I threw out my old one forgetting that I'm doing an empties post so sorry about that. I made a whole review of this product here if you wanna check that out but this is basically a quick way to remove your makeup without the mess that may happen when you spill your makeup remover.  PHP 79.75 (1.69 USD)
Will I repurchase?I already stocked up on these a few months ago so I would have to say yes. But since I'm currently using Virgin coconut oil to remove my makeup, then I would have to say that it would take me awhile to be able to finish this pack and my stock.

Vita Complex Face Mask from Etude House
I just got this recently because my favorite tea tree face mask was sold out at the branch that I went to. Since I felt that I needed a good glow on my skin these past few weeks, I picked this one up that says it helps the skin to be radiant. PHP 58 (1.23 USD)
Will I repurchase?I already have 2 more on my vanity right now and it did leave my skin glowing (but not overwhelming). After using this a night before I was heading out with friends, they all told me that I look so blooming. The look I would describe this is that it looks like I just washed my face. Super clean but not dry looking. I would say that glow lasted me for 3 days.

So those have been my products that I've emptied out until the very last drop and I hope that this was useful if you're looking to try any of these products out and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask or even if you have any suggestions on which products should I try too and I'll reply as soon as I see them

Nail products used (incase you wanna know):
Chic nail polish in the shade Gypsetter from the Boho Chic! Collection
ORLY Matte Top Coat

Disclosure: I  am in no way sponsored by any of these brands that I've mentioned. All opinions are based on my experience and thoughts.

Monthly Favorites | August 2015

Hello everybody! So August is my birth month and I am very sad that it has gone by so quickly. I've gotta say that this month wasn't exactly my best of the year but I'm still pretty thankful that there are some little things that manages to make me smile. With that, here are the things that I have been using very frequently during this month. And also, I have decided to actually put direct links on where you would be able to find it and get it for yourselves too.

Play #25 manicure from Etude House. P128 ($2.74). I have been only using this color for the whole month and I think until the first half of September. This is one of the best examples (for me) of what color I will never get sick of looking and also, works pretty well with every occasion or just a casual day. Very easy to pair up with other colors from my clothes and makeup. And as you all may already know, I really love the Etude House Play collection.

Orly Matte Top Coat. P499.75 ($10.71). I got this at SM Department Store In SM Megamall but HERE is an alternative link. Get it here. I've always been a huge matte "fanatic", I just love and appreciate everything matte because I think that it is something that cannot be overdone. I have been eyeing this top coat for awhile and decided to finally get it during my birthday shopping and honestly, I do not regret it, I just love it and you would see me play with this alot. I also made a review on this product, check it out HERE.

Prettywhenpinched Lip and Cheek Tint from Bench. P180 ($3.86). Not gonna lie, this is an old product of mine that I purchased way back but never really appreciated it, although it used to be a holy grail during my high school days. So, I started reusing it this month and every so often when I glance at the mirror I could see why I loved this product so much back in the day. It isn't subtle at all, but it does go perfectly fine on my skin which I am very happy about. I'm not quite sure if this product still looks the same or has the same packaging or formula since I haven't visited a bench store for awhile but I'm sure it is still available. The only downside I could say about this product is when you apply it, you will need to be abit precise on how much you put into your face and also quickly blend it in since it is pigmented and dries up pretty fast.

Purederm Argan Oil Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes. P79.75 ($1.74). I got this at SM Department Store in SM Megamall, but it is also available in Watsons. This product is what I am absolutely raving about and I know that I am getting quite annoying with this because it is just a makeup remover but with my experience of makeup removers, I just cannot find that one thing that would completely remove stubborn eye makeup and with this, it removes it with minimal effort, just a few swipes and the eye makeup is gone. It is pretty cheap and worth every penny. For more of an in depth review of this product, click HERE.

Denim shorts from Forever 21. The price of this was originally P1,015 ($22.17) but after the 50% off, it was P507.50 ($11.09). Couldn't really find this in their website anymore. I recently got this during my birthday haul and I have been wearing it so much ever since. I threw it in the laundry a couple of times but once it dries, I just quickly put it on and use it again. I seriously cannot explain more on why I love this shorts so much rather than I'm just so comfortable on using it and it looks great.

Penryn And The End Of Days Series by: Susan Ee. See them HERE. I have been finding books that I would again love and have been abit unsuccessful with that during this month, however, I did stumble upon this book while searching for reviews and recommendations on the web and after reading the first book, I got quite addicted to it that I got myself the other 2 books too and have finished reading  them all in just a few days. I highly recommend this if you are up for a good read especially if you are the type to enjoy fantasy stories, or if you are just finding something that would help you pass the time.
So those have been my favorites for this month and do leave a comment below if you have tried out these products too and how much did you like them? Also comment if you have any more questions or suggestions for me whether it'll be a similar or new product or just blogging tips or ideas.

Hope that this has helped you if you are looking into getting these products. Thanks for reading and until the next blog!

Drugstore Haul

Hello Everybody! Welcome back to my blog and if you're new here, Hi! I'm Joyce and today I will be showing you guys some of the things that I picked out yesterday at SM Megamall.

I just picked out a few items that I need and also because I was quite in a rush yesterday so I grabbed all of these and I am excited to try some of them out.

First is the Purederm Argan Oil Make-up Remover Cleansing Towelettes and I have recently tried this and loved it (For a more in depth review for this product, check HERE) So, I went ahead and got more of them and lucky me, it was currently sale on SM so the usual price for this is P79.75 ($1.71) and I got it yesterday for only P59.75 ($1.28) and I got 2 of them so I could have more stock of it in my drawer.
Next is this Glam Works Body Wax Strips. I have never ever experienced getting waxed before and I finally decided to try it out. This has 12 wax strips and 2 after-wax finish wipes. I am usually a veet or plucking kind of person so I'm a bit scared but I do wanna try this out for awhile now and finally decided to get it yesterday. I got this for P189 ($4.04)

I also got these little false eyelashes. It doesn't have a brand except that it says watson's on the price tag, it is P44.75 ($0.96). To be quite honest, I am not much of a fan of false eyelashes but I just finally decided that I should opt for a change so I got these because they were the cheapest that I could find and also the simplest. Sadly though, there isn't any glue included so I'll have to get that separately when I happen to drop by a beauty shop.

Lastly, I got the Loreal True Match liquid foundation in the shade W3 Nude Beige and this cost about P600 ($12.84). I have heard of this product 1 or 2 times and decided to finally try it out all because I finished up my Benefit Hello Flawless foundation (Review here if you wanna see more of it) and also because I was getting quite overwhelmed with all the makeup stalls around me that I couldn't get myself to chill and pick slowly. It was a toss between this and the Revlon Airbrush effect which I have heard quite good reviews but I decided to go with this because it is cheaper and my gut tells me to just get it.

So those are the things that I got and I really am excited to try them out. Be sure to stick around for reviews on most of these and also comment down below if you have already tried these products out and how it worked for you or if you have any more questions about the individual items. I'm also open for suggestions of products to try out and review about and also post ideas so leave them all there and I would reply as soon as I see them.

Hope that this has helped you if you are ever trying to find these products and also for the price information. Thanks for reading and until the next blog!

Purederm Argan Oil Make-up Remover Cleansing Towelettes Review

Hello everybody, today I will be demonstrating / reviewing about a product that I recently just found while I was shopping during my birthday. I am all for putting on makeup and being artistic, although sometimes we would want a blank canvas and start over, that is when makeup removers are our best friend and I'm not really familiar with great makeup removers because most of them are either expensive or doesn't do anything at all but when I found this, I decided to give it a go.

Item Description:
Gently cleanse, tone & removes make-up, Made of a precious blend of Argain Oil & Vitamin E to restore hydration and softness, Ideal for all skin types.

Ingredients:
Water (Aqua), Alcohol, Glycerin, Propylene, Glycol, Olive Oil Glycereth-8 Esters, Camellia Sinesnsis Leaf Extract, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Leaf Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Cymbopogon Schoenanthus Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, Cocamidopropyl Betainer, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil, Allantoin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Disodium EDTA, Methylparaben, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Polyaminopropyl Biguanide, Fragrance (Parfum)

Price and where did I buy it?
P79.75 ($1.74) and I got it from SM Department store at SM Megamall although I am sure you could probably get this at any SM malls.

What do I think of this product?
I have tried different kinds of makeup remover towelettes before and they mostly have a hard time taking off my eye makeup which is what I tested this product once I got my hands on it. With just a single swipe, I've removed about 80% of my eye makeup and mostly my full face makeup is gone. It doesn't leave my face greasy unlike the other makeup removers that I tried and if you are curious my skin type is a combination with having my t-zone as an oily spot. Also, it is a lifesaver with those stubborn mascaras.

Left Side: Wiped off makeup. Right Side: With Full Face Makeup.

Is it worth the money?
For how cheap it is, I am pretty sure that it is. the pack comes with 30 wet towelettes and it is resealable. And from my experience, it does what you expect it to do and that is to take off your makeup. Do try and ask the salesperson handling the stalls because from what I heard, this one is always sold out and I got the last stock for this one so lucky me!

So that has been my review for this product, I am so happy that I found it and would definitely be repurchasing more of it. Do comment for any questions, suggestions or discussions and I will try to reply as best as I can.

Thank you for reading and until the next blog!

Birthday Haul!

Welcome back to my blog! If you're new here, Hi! I'm Joyce and today I will be showing all of you what I got for my birthday last August 5th. It's not really that much but I honestly wanted all of these and some are just necessities for me to get since I'm already at the mall.

So first I went to H&M and just got 1 item which is...

If you guys read my June favorites this year, I got the black version of this exact shirt and I have been wearing it all the time, but at that time, they didn't really have any other colors other than black, so when I saw this, I just instantly got it and I love it just as much as I love my black version of this. It is P499 ($10.90)
Next, I went and did a little damage at forever 21..

So I got myself just one of this basic white top because I have a lot of these but I don't have the white one. And sometimes, when I do some mix and matches on my wardrobe especially with my cardigans, I always don't have a really nice white top underneath. Or just maybe put on a simple and clean looking top when it's really hot. This costs P165 ($3.60)
This faded jean shorts was something I've been looking for awhile but whenever I went to the mall, I just couldn't find one exactly like it and when I saw this, I just knew I had to get it plus it was on 50% off so that just really made me so happy because I did need a new pair of shorts since it is super hot in the Philippines and these are exactly what I wear most days. The price of this was originally P1,015 ($22.17) but after the 50% off it was P507.50 ($11.09)

The last clothing piece that I got from Forever 21 is this casual / Bomber jacket. It is leather and I don't care if it is currently super hot here in the Philippines, I just really wanted to own one for so long but it was always too expensive, or if you find a cheaper one, then it would most likely have an awful design or bad quality. I was delighted to see that this was also on 50% off so I tried it on, loved it, bought it. No regrets at all! I'll find some time to actually wear this, I just know it! The price of this jacket was originally P2,055 ($44.89) after the 50% off it was P1027.50 ($22.43).

For accessories, some of what they had there was buy 1 take 1 and just my luck, it was their last day so I got this ring that has a heart and small silver stud that has this little chain connecting to the smaller sized ring that has a dangling stud too. And then the necklace is just like a bar that has some silver jewels in it. The price was based on the higher priced item which was the necklace that costs P139 ($3.04)

So by this time, I was actually getting tired already, (I so need to be alot more fit) so I got myself some drugstore items since I was already there.

Alright so I got myself some new stocks of the iWhite Nose Pack. This worked wonders for me and my brother so I bought 5 of the small packs which is 3.5ml and a piece costs P18 ($0.39) because I can't get it anywhere near my place anymore, from what I heard it's always sold out.

Next I got myself a new makeup remover and it is the Purederm Argan Oil makeup remover cleansing towelettes. It has 30 Wet towelettes inside and costs only P79.75 ($1.74) and from trying it for a few times, it removes my whole face makeup even those hard to remove eye makeup with just a few light swipes on my face. So I like this and will definitely be purchasing more when I get the chance.
I also got myself a moisturizer, the Myra E Daily Sun Protection Moisturizer that has SPF 15 and is 50ml. This costs P99.75 ($2.18). I have used this before when I was addicted to biking and pretty much went out even if the sun is at it's highest. This worked great for me although I stopped that time because I wasn't sure if this was the product that broke me out or my cleanser. I never really knew which one since I started to use new products since then but I am now giving it another chance.

I got a white eyeliner because I've been seeing this trend with using white instead of black ones for the waterline on their eyes and decided to try it myself. I got the Fashion 21 Color Pen '99- White and it costs P85 ($1.86). It is a double end eyeliner which one side is the actual pencil and the other side is a smudger brush. After using this on the day of my birthday, I think that it actually survived the hot weather and didn't really run all over my face.. unless I'm missing something because it's white? Well, I'm pretty happy with it and the product feels so creamy that I don't actually have to push it into my waterline so much just to have it visible and the smudger brush is also useful for smudging the eyeshadow.
And this product, I actually put this on my wish list a few weeks ago and I am super happy that I finally got it and currently playing with it. It is the ORLY Matte Top Coat and it costs P499 ($10.90). I won't be saying much about this product at the moment because I will be doing a separate review for it, all I could say is that I'm excited to actually try it on other colors and how long it would lasts on me.

Lastly, before heading home, I went to Hortaleza to pick up some hair bleach (Yes, I decided to finally go and do it - Sadly though, I threw away the pack before I could take a picture of it but the brand was Medea P18  = $0.39) I did a ombre / balayage type / style on my hair and it did turn out orange and I will be repeating the process next week and hopefully I'll achieve the color that I want by then. Then I also got myself a cute little blending sponge, it's pink and the brand was actually in Japanese so I didn't understand it, but for sure other Hortaleza branches would have these. I never owned a little sponge like this and the actual ones that I see everybody use costs so much but this one, I only got it for P59 ($1.29). So far, I'm having a really hard time cleaning it but I will say more soon after I get to play with it more.

I also got some other personal necessities and also a dozen of donuts at Krispy Kreme and my black forest cake at Red Ribbon.

So that has been the things that I got myself for my birthday (Read my Birthday Tag HERE) and if you guys have the same stuff or tried the things that I actually mentioned here, do leave a comment to tell me your experience or if you have questions for me about these products too and I'll try my best to answer your questions.

I will be posting I think 1 or 2 more birthday themed ones so stay tuned for that! Thanks for reading and until the next blog!
