Product Empties // November 2015

Not gonna lie, Due to my compulsive buying with beauty products these past few months, I rarely finish up something to it's very last drop. But today, I collected quite a few that I have to review or grab another one to stash and use.

Pantene Total Damage Care 10

I'm just gonna go ahead and summarize this with the Shampoo, Conditioner and Mask. All that I could say is that I love these products! They really are a miracle since after bleaching, my hair was really damaged and I kinda felt bad that I might have to cut it because it really looks unhealthy and dry. After using these products altogether, my hair became super smooth and bouncy or full of life. My hair really thanks me whenever I use these. The only downside that I would have to say about these products is it didn't really help my falling hair issue which I think is still okay since I haven't really found any hair treatments that would help me with that issue just yet. (Forgot the prices for each of them)
Will I repurchase?Yes but I would wanna try out other products for the meantime but I would consider this my holy grail if you are in need of a hair repair. I will be busy trying to find something to help my hair fall issue now.

Breath of fresh air toner from Lush

If I'm not wrong, I got this around May this year(See more of what I got back then here). And have been using it a few times ever since. I actually emptied it before Halloween and just kept it for this empties post because I do wanna talk about this product.  PHP 325 (6.90 USD)
The description:The sea breeze captured in a bottle. A refreshing spray to tide you over. Great for use any time throughout the day as a pick-me-up for skin and mind.
Will I repurchase?Maybe not this toner, but I have been eyeing the tea tree toner (also from Lush) for awhile. I have to agree that it's scent does remind me of the sea, and it does makes my mind calm down and relax whenever I use it. This was an okay product for me.  Though, it didn't do much at all for me. It didn't break me out nor improve my skin.

Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream in Abu Dhabi

I made a review about this awhile back so if you wanna check that out, click here.I love lipsticks / liquid lipsticks and have a ton of them in my vanity but I would have to say that this is my comfort lip shade. It is super natural nude, almost like I'm not wearing anything. It gives an even finish that is perfect for a look that would help concentrate on your eye makeup or anything else that wouldn't catch too much attention or clash with your outfit. PHP 390 (8.28 USD)
Will I repurchase?Yes! I love Nyx's lip creams and would wanna grow my collection but I really need to chill with getting lipsticks so I'll just have to get this one since this is like what I said is my comfort shade.

Drawing eyebrow pencil in #2 from Etude House

Okay, to be honest, I accidentally dropped this the other day while I still have a little bit left. So I guess I would have to add this in these empties post because everything's gone now. I love Etude house so much. I've been using Etude House products on my brows for this whole year for my everyday or favorite look. It comes with a retractable pencil on one side and a spoolie brush on another and is inexpensive. The only con I would have to say about this product is that the options for the colors or shades is pretty limited or small. PHP 148 (3.14 USD)
Will I repurchase?Yes and I would recommend this to anyone who is a beginner in doing their eyebrows because of how easy this product is to use. Although, I'm thinking that this would be a perfect time for me to get a new brand or product so I'll leave this one as a backup.

Purederm Argan Oil Make-up remover wipes.

Yes, the picture is a newly opened pack of wipes because I threw out my old one forgetting that I'm doing an empties post so sorry about that. I made a whole review of this product here if you wanna check that out but this is basically a quick way to remove your makeup without the mess that may happen when you spill your makeup remover.  PHP 79.75 (1.69 USD)
Will I repurchase?I already stocked up on these a few months ago so I would have to say yes. But since I'm currently using Virgin coconut oil to remove my makeup, then I would have to say that it would take me awhile to be able to finish this pack and my stock.

Vita Complex Face Mask from Etude House
I just got this recently because my favorite tea tree face mask was sold out at the branch that I went to. Since I felt that I needed a good glow on my skin these past few weeks, I picked this one up that says it helps the skin to be radiant. PHP 58 (1.23 USD)
Will I repurchase?I already have 2 more on my vanity right now and it did leave my skin glowing (but not overwhelming). After using this a night before I was heading out with friends, they all told me that I look so blooming. The look I would describe this is that it looks like I just washed my face. Super clean but not dry looking. I would say that glow lasted me for 3 days.

So those have been my products that I've emptied out until the very last drop and I hope that this was useful if you're looking to try any of these products out and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask or even if you have any suggestions on which products should I try too and I'll reply as soon as I see them

Nail products used (incase you wanna know):
Chic nail polish in the shade Gypsetter from the Boho Chic! Collection
ORLY Matte Top Coat

Disclosure: I  am in no way sponsored by any of these brands that I've mentioned. All opinions are based on my experience and thoughts.

Monthly Favorites | October 2015

It is as if I just blinked and the whole month of October just went by.
Hello everybody welcome back to my favorite post every month and it is my monthly favorites. Today I will round up all the products or things that I've been using and loving for the whole month of October. If you are a regular reader of my blog, you would know that I became a tad festive with my look this past Halloween party so most of the products that I used there will be mentioned here.

Chromastix Hair Chalk Intense
P99 (2.12 USD) from SM Depatment store at SM Megamall
I actually didn't think that this would come out so intense on my hair (my hair is bleached so maybe that's why) but it did and what I did was I just sprayed my hair with water and rub the chalk on that section and then sealed it with my hair straightener. It does leave my hair a bit dry looking and not smooth and it has been 5 days at the moment (when I made this) after the Halloween Party and I still have some hint of pink and blue on my hair. So if you're looking for one that would last you for awhile, this one is the best way to go plus it's pretty cheap, it comes with 6 colors: Dark blue (although it came out as a sky blue color on my hair), yellow, purple, pink, orange and red.

Note: The Chromastix with applicator didn't work that well for me, I don't know if it's because I use it too hard but the chalk that was in it kept sinking. And these individual sized chalks aren't refillers for them.

Rucy's Vanity Gleamy Lavish Waterproof Mascara in Black

P180 (3.85 USD) *this was sent to me but you can view it on their website.
I kinda side step every time Mascara is the topic of a conversation because I really hate the fact that most mascaras are expensive but you could actually just use it for 2-3 months before it expires and I always have to buy the expensive ones because none of the cheaper alternatives work for me, that is, until I used this product. It is super cheap and my eye lashes easily curled without even using an eyelash curler. For a more in depth review, click HERE.

Daddy O Purple Shampoo

P325 (6.95 USD) from Lush
If you've seen some of my photos for awhile, you would know that I have bleached my hair a couple of times, ombre / balayage style. I bought this a month ago and have been using it once or twice a week as my shampoo and my blonde hair became shinier and less brassy looking. I think that the only downside of this shampoo (at least for me) is that it left my hair feeling a little dry so I would recommend still using a conditioner and a hair mask after this. I only bought the smallest size since I wanted to test it out first and so far so good and I'll have to purchase a bigger one next time because for sure, I won't be having a hair cut anytime soon and my hair is hella thick so this small size would only last me for a short time.

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Intense Black

P745 (16.03 USD) from Rustan's Shangri-la
I made a whole review of this product so if you would wanna read that click HERE but this is actually the eyeliner that I used to draw the cobweb on my eyes last Halloween party and it never faded even as I was sweating my way to the night.

Color My Brows in #6

P498 (10.90 USD) from Etude House
I actually featured this product before if I'm not wrong but that was the smaller size and the number was #2 and I remember that I kept complaining that I finished up 1 little tube so quickly so I always end up buying more of it. When I saw that they had this one, I immediately asked if the colors are the same, did some swatches and just purchased it because now I don't have to complain of finishing one little tube too fast because this is a bigger sized one and if I do, then it is me who has the problem and not the product. (haha!). Anyway, holy grail eyebrow gel so if you get the chance to test it out, please do, you'll love the color selections and how it stays onto your brows for the rest of the day.

Nichido Tru Lashes Eyelash Adhesive

P60 (1.31 USD) from SM Department Store
I'm not really that familiar with eyelash adhesives but this certainly didn't disappoint me. I used this glue for my fake lashes during the Halloween party and I didn't have to worry about it falling off or moving around because it really just stays in place. Easy to apply and to take off so if you're finding a good eyelash adhesive, try this one out.

Real Natura Organics Soft Matte Lip Gem in Caramel Glaze

P659 (14.42 USD) *this was sent to me but you can find them on Instagram @realnaturaorganics
I've been noticing that I've picked this lipstick up more than usual these past few weeks. Totally a comfortable shade to wear for everyday. You could see more of my swatches and review on the other shades here to compare. Plus, it's organic, you gotta love cruelty free products right?

So those are the beauty products, now let's talk about some random favorites like.. you know, clothing pieces and hobbies stuff?

Super Skinny Ankle Jeans

Original Price P1690 (36.37 USD) but I got it for P700 (15.06 USD) at H&M
I'm usually more of a jean shorts kind of girl but I guess these pants are an exception. Ever since I bought it, I've been wearing it every time me and my brother go out that it is unreal. My jean shorts are being neglected at this point and I'm kinda leaning on the comfy + fashionable jeans life.

Bad Girls Don't Die by: Katie Alender

Last Halloween, I did a series post so if you haven't checked that out then please do because some of the posts there I recommended some of my Halloween movies, DIY, books etc. and one of the things I loved the most from there is this book and I admit that if I didn't have a friend recommend this to me, I would never dare pick it up because of it's cover. Once you're reading it, it does get a bit spooky but not too overwhelming since the author did keep a right amount of balance into the story. So if you wanna read more of my review about this and other books that have the same spooky factor click HERE.

Playlist

I made a compilation or playlist of songs that I played over and over again during October and hope that you would like it too!

So those have been my October favorites and I hope that you have found this useful and comment down below if you tried or liked anything in here and how it worked for you. I'm also open for suggestions so if you have any recommendations for me to try out, please don't hesitate to tell me.

Current Wish List 2015

Alright, So I have been window shopping quite a lot these days and I tried to narrow down all the products into 5 of my most wanted at the moment. I always have these wish lists on my phone so whenever I visit a beauty store I could look at my phone and see what product I wanted. That way, I won't get overwhelmed and buying stuff that I don't really need. So here is my wish list! Take note I am posting the price of it in dollar and Philippine peso.

1. ORLY Matte Top Coat.($10) Here, this costs P449.75 which is $9.96.I am inlove with matte anything and I had my flormar matte polishes but they only release so few colors and I already have 3 of them. So when I saw this I was so tempted to get it but when I went to the mall I totally spaced and forgot that I needed this in my life. Well I guess I know what I'm gonna get the next time I head out.

2. Benefit Porefessional ($31) Here it costs P1,700 which is $37.64. I have heard good reviews about this product and almost everyone has it. I'm actually a bit confused on which to get.. the smashbox photo finish pore minimizing primer ($39) or this one. But since I think that this one is a bit more cheaper then I guess I would give this one a try first.

3. Benefit Hoola Bronzer ($28) Here in the Philippines it costs P1,600 which is $35.43. Okay, so I am probably the only person who has not tried this product out yet. Again, so many people have been using this and little old me keeps buying other products rather than this one and this has been on my wish list for so long so I now I'm pretty sure I really do need it.

4. No Drought Dry Shampoo by: Lush ($13.95) Here it costs P575 which is $12.73. I am a fan of 2nd - 3rd day hair but have never applied or used any dry shampoo in my life. When I asked some of my friends on what brand should I try, they recommended me to get this one. They say that it doesn't leave some white stuff on your hair and it smells okay. I now probably know that this is really an awesome product by the fact that whenever I keep visiting the lush store near me, it is always sold out. So if I ever see this I will get it with no questions asked.

5. NYX Micro Brow Pencil ($10 or P451.60). They say that this product could be a dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz ($21 or P948.35) which is not actually unattainable in my current country but it seems to be everybody's favorite eyebrow pencil. So when I heard that NYX released a product that is quite similar to this, I just know I had to get it because I always end up with the crappiest eyebrow pencils ever. But sadly, this product hasn't been released in the Philippines yet too. So I am still waiting and very excited about it.

So tell me, what is on your wish list? Do we have some of the same stuff or have you guys tried these out already? Leave a comment below if you did or if you wanna suggest me some other products as well.

Until the next blog!

On The Budget [P500] - Inside My Stash.

Welcome back to my blog everybody! If you're new here, Hi I'm Joyce and as what the title says, I will be showing you guys some products that is inside my stash that are worth P500 or below. I got this idea from a magazine I was reading and I thought, why not show you guys what I purchased that are budget friendly but is still amazing regardless if it is not that high end. So without further ado, let's get started!

1. "Breath Of Fresh Air" by: Lush. I got this for P395 at the Lush store at Shangri-la near SM Megamall. A lovely spray toner with a calm scent. I do recommend using a cotton ball for it since the spray of the toner is so wide.

2. "Drawing Eye Brow" by: Etude House (I'm using the color #3). I got this for P148 at the Etude House store at SM Megamall. It is a double sided pencil and spoolie brush. It doesn't fade althroughout the day even if I am constantly sweating and the spoolie brush isn't really the best but it's not painful to use. The downside is this product is only available in so few colors. It is easy to remove and fills in the brows nicely.

3. "iWhite Nose Pack". I got this for P18 at Watson's in SM taytay. First of all it is super cheap / very affordable and 1 sachet for me can be used for 2-3 times. It is unscented and abit of a thick texture. You could honestly feel the black heads / white heads coming off of your nose. The only downside of it is that it will be messy once you start applying it and abit painful when peeling it off but I guarantee it does do it's job very well.

4. "Color My Brows" by: Etude House (I'm using the color #2). I got this for P378 at the Etude House store at SM Megamall. Having really thick eyebrows was a struggle for me at 1st because I wanted to fill it in with another color or shape it but not looking like I tried to much. This product helped me achieve that since it is an eye brow mascara that matches my dyed hair color. It's scent is nice but not overpowering. The downside may be that the brush grabs on to too much product. Now I pair this after using my eyebrow pencil (my number 2 product) and it gives me a smooth finish.  It is available on 5 more colors so check it out.

5. "Pretty When Pinched" lip and cheek tint by: Bench. I've had this product for about a year already (don't judge me, I tend to not finish a product often.. sorry!) and I remember I got this for a cheap price but now that I searched it, it says that this is about P180 at any Bench store. The applicator for this is what I don't like + the scent. But when you get past that, it looks really great as a blush, for the lips though.. it is abit drying. I think that most Filipino girls has this on their stash because it does work great and if you don't have it yet, then you should go ahead and try it! It is only available in this color if I'm not wrong (I don't even know if they changed the packaging or not) but I've been using this product ever since I was in 2nd year high school and it is loved by most of my schoolmates before until today.

Now, wasn't all that affordable! Hope that you guys liked the read and helped you if you are finding affordable but works great essentials. I will be posting more of these because I am guilty of trying out way too much drugstore makeup and finding the cheapest stuff on a specific brand.

So if you like this do +1 it and follow me for more updates or comment your suggestions on what you think is below P500 that works great too.

Thanks for reading this entry, until the next blog!

Mini Haul: Benefit, Lush, Etude House & Forever 21!

Dear bro, thanks for taking this pic.
And understanding my vanity.

I just got home, with goodies from the mall! *Insert overjoyed greeting here*

WARNING: MY NAILS ARE CHIPPED SO I APOLOGIZE IF IT MAY BOTHER SOME OF YOU. I WAS TOO EXCITED TO POST THIS BLOG THAT I FORGOT TO REDO MY NAILS.

So, I am going to make my 1st ever OFFICIAL "Mini Haul". A mini haul because I didn't really buy much but I am telling you, after buying all these stuff I feel like I bought too many already.

Okay, so if you guys read my blog before this one, I mentioned that me and my brother went to the mall today. Yeap, we did go and bought his PSVita but what was unexpected was my little splurge. So without further ado let's get started!

Rustan's "Beauty" floor.
After buying my brother's PSVita at Datablitz at SM Megamall, we then went to Shangri-la so I could go and get some benefit cosmetics. To be honest, I could count with only 1 hand the times I shopped at Rustan's all because it intimidates me since I always see people who "look rich" going in and out of there and kind of made me think that Rustan's has pretty expensive stuff, in which case is yes its true.

Okay so, when me and my brother went inside the beauty floor I thought I just saw heaven. Seriously, EVERYTHING is there like MAC, NARS, Channel, Dior, EVERYTHING! (Except for urban decay which I didn't actually notice if they have it or not.). We went straight to the benefit section because I was so excited and I was thankful that a really nice woman assisted me on picking the items I needed.

A little disclaimer: I am not sponsored by Benefit or any brands that I will talk about here. This is not a review since I haven't tried the items yet except testing it before I bought it. I may or may not post reviews on these items in the future.

What I purchased at Benefit:
It took me a few minutes trying different samples until I finally decided which ones I'm gonna get which are: the limited edition flawless four travel kit and the roller lash mascara.

Roller Lash by: Benefit
Price in Philippine Peso : P1,300

Do I even need to explain why I considered making the roller lash to be one of my 1st purchases at benefit?

From what I heard and watched, this is such an amazing mascara. They said that it does the job of the regular eye curlers (that is a pain in the ass inside my makeup bag I may add) while making it longer and makes the eyes look more wide open.

It has a plastic applicator which as a "beginner" on using mascara is quite common for me to encounter whenever I buy them. Well, from watching make-up gurus advice is that not all plastic applicators grab the eyelashes enough to give it a proper curl but then again I saw most of them now are loving this mascara so when I saw it I just got to have it in my makeup collection.

Limited Edition: The Flawless Four Travel Kit.
Price in Philippine Peso: P1,300

This kit is actually the reason I really wanted to go to benefit. It has the Stay flawless 15-hour primer, Fakeup hydrating crease-control concealer, Hello flawless oxygen wow brightening makeup SPF 25 PA+++, Hello flawless custom powder cover-up and a little brush with benefit engraved in it all in tiny travel sized containers which is good for me because I really wanted to test all these out that it worried me it will cost so much, but with this it is a lot more cheaper and it won't go to waste.

I actually saw this kit at benefitbeautyph on instagram, for a moment after I saw it in person I was kinda worried that its too pricey because all of them are so tiny, but then I thought that its not like I'll be able to use all of these on one go and again, its a chance for me to try everything.

It's Lush Time!
Having to be used to just buying drugstore makeup and skin care items, it was quite a surprise that I finally invested more on these items that I would normally just roll my eyes on and move on because of how expensive they are. But I guess, there is a time for everything. Like me, all of a sudden caught myself walking into the lush store at Shangri-la!

Again, I am thankful that the ladies that assisted me are very nice, helpful and treated me like any other interested buyer on their products. I won't lie, the prices didn't actually surprise me. I don't know if its because I starting investing and being more open minded about these products that I realized that lush has practical prices on their items.None of which I am brave enough to buy yet but I am going to read and watch reviews about certain products that caught my eye.

"Breath Of Fresh Air" Toner Water by: Lush

Price in Philippine Peso: P325

Oh yes, I couldn't help it. This toner caught my eye because 1st, let's be real: it is one of the cheapest ones I saw and I never had a toner that is "spray-on". Plus, I realized that after reading the ingredients, I actually managed to pronounce and know most of them which actually made me fee smart inside (sure Joyce, everyone would want to buy an item that makes them feel smart).

For real though, I did actually saw someone on youtube actually using this and she said it works great for her. I didn't go inside Lush aiming to see this item but when I did, I decided to go ahead and give it a try.

ETUDE HOUSE!
There is just no question when you see me walk into an etude house stall, I absolutely LOVE their stuff! Most of my makeup are all from here like my BB cream, my eyebrow gel and pencil, my nails stuff and my face masks.

I didn't really need to repurchase my makeup and nail colors because like what I'm aiming for, I want to be more adventurous on the makeup field so, I just went ahead and bought only my favorite face mask:

"Tea Tree" Face Mask by Etude House
Price in Philippine Peso: P58

I just started using this mask since January and until now, it never fails to pamper me. Besides from its great smell, it leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth for at least 3 days.

I really love using this while I'm just laying down and having those I just wanna daydream moments. I honestly feel like I'm gonna fall asleep while having this on my face for 15 minutes.

I might make a review about this item because I am just loving it so much!

UPDATE: My review for this mask is located HERE.

And I thought I just wanted to check out the makeup I was curious about..
Whenever I go to SM Megamall, I just have this habit that I'll go inside H&M and Forever 21 because most of my current favorite clothing pieces that I own are from there. I tried and failed to break this habit but then I needed wifi. For some reason, I can't connect to the wifi from any other location except inside forever 21 and I am not making this up, I just tried to go in to see if I'll get a signal and then when I did I started chatting with my mom while walking around the store and finding this super cute dress.

"Short Black Dress" from Forever 21
Price in Philippine Peso: P1275

I just realized it may look abit creepy but my goodness, this dress is super cute when I put it on. I really couldn't resist not getting it. It was under the "California" section and it was the last one there. And yes, it's the one I'm wearing on the 1st photo up on this blog.

I wasn't really a fan of the "peter pan" collar because whenever I try on clothing that has that collar, I look like I'm a little girl. I'm already small so making me wear things like this really doesn't flatter me although when I tried this on I just loved how it looked on me. Oh well, a first for everything once again.

me and bro @J.CO

I guess what I'm trying to say is, it's been a great shopping or splurging day for me and I do not regret buying these items, then again I have yet to try them all (except from the face mask since I use it all the time but you know what I mean.).

I am currently munching on some doughnuts while editing this blog and I will probably regret eating so much later on but anyway....

I will now publish this and hope that you guys would also share and recommend me some items to try out because let's face it, I'm pretty much a newbie and would really appreciate your suggestions.

Until next blog!
Joyce
