Price and where did I get it? P600 ($12.82 USD) from SM Department Store at SM Megamall. Yeap alot more expensive here in the Philippines which in the US, this only costs about $10.95 (P512.35)
What do I think of this product?
To be quite honest, I did have high expectations for this since after I bought it, I searched around youtube and other blogs (I know, bad habit of mine where I only search reviews after I bought the product- but hey I did hear of this product before!) and I saw that alot of people has this as one of their holy grail foundation. For me though, I have only used it for 4 or 5 times and half that time, it was pretty hot outside and I keep on blotting my face every so often just because the oiliness is real. But during cold weathers, it did seem fine. I know that this isn't a matte or a sheer type of foundation because it is a luminous type of foundation wherein it gives a natural finish to your skin, yet I did expect it to have more coverage where in all honesty, it didn't give me what I was looking for. It does apply nicely but it transfers quite easily that maybe I would have the weather to blame, but still I didn't like that I couldn't touch my face at all while I was wearing this because it would make a little mess.
I do wish that this product has a pump since it is so watery and being as clumsy as I am, pouring out products just isn't practical because besides the fact that I'd tend to spill (it's indeed a given), there will be times where I haven't poured enough and then I'll pour too much. Plus it is more hygienic having to not open the cap and get all sorts of bacteria freely passing through. I did not have issues with breakouts but again, the small spots that I had before using this product didn't have enough coverage while using this. It is really a super natural type of foundation that I think only people who have clear skin and just finding a good base to even out their skin tone would find this foundation pretty good.
Is it worth the money?
If you are staying at a place where the weather is constantly hot, then nope, not really. I really did wanna like this product because of how it perfectly matches my skin tone which alot of foundations just don't get it right. I will however, recommend this during cold weathers or if you're at a wintery place. Having to spend P600 for it wasn't totally a big deal since most foundations that are well known does cost alot more but still, I expected more from this product like for eg. surviving the weather and more coverage which is probably my only problem.
So that is it for this review, I hope that this has helped you if you are looking into getting this product out yourself. Do leave a comment down below for any further questions or suggestions or if you have any tips if you have the exact opposite experience as me. Let me know and I'll reply as soon as I see it. Also, what is your holy grail drugstore foundation?
Oh, this seems to be a bit disappointing! I have been mixing the Rimmel Match Perfection and the Catrice All Matt Plus foundation and I love the result! Xx
