Silky Girl Moisture Rich Lipstick in Sensual Review

Silky Girl (if I'm not wrong) is a Malaysia based cosmetics brand and just recently arrived in the Philippines. That or we Filipinas just don't notice it too often. I for one almost skipped past their stall at Robinson's Metro East while checking out some new products to try since it was in the far corner. I swatched some of their colors and picked this one out since I liked it the best.

Price: P149 (3.18 USD) and I got it at Robinson's Metro East.
What do I think of this product? It's pretty cheap compared to the other brands I usually get. It is fragrance free and smoothly glides on to your lips. It has a satin finish to it and lasts for a long time. Longest I wore it was 6 hours and didn't have to reapply even after I ate and drank water, though the color does seem to fade but not completely, almost like it leaves a stain on your lips. During the first few minutes it will transfer around but after that it stays in tact. Doesn't have a sticky feeling a.k.a. really comfortable to wear, almost like you're wearing no lipstick at all.

No filter.
No Filter. Indoor Lighting.
No Filter. Direct Lighting,

Is it worth the money?Yes and I would definitely watch out for their matte lipsticks that would come out. I can't believe that I never seen or tried them before. All their shades are gorgeous (will add other swatches when I come back to their stall). I say that you need this in your life if you want a really natural looking nude lipstick or just something cheap to get if you need a new lipstick.

  1. I've got several of these lippies just because they retail for insane prices where I live. Their darker matte shades fade unevenly is my only complaint. Other than that, the matte finish and lasting power keep me really happy.
